Accounting

Accounting for electrical businesses: what comes in, what goes out, what is missing

The bank statement is held against the open invoices, the dunning steps keep running, and a supplier invoice is signed off before it is payable. If you want, keep the books right here — or stay with bexio or Abacus.

What you do with it

What comes in, what goes out, what is missing

  • Incoming payments and dunning

Reading in the bank statement, payment matching on the QR reference, payment plans. Dunning with steps, dunning letter, default interest and dunning fee, up to the debt collection request.

  • Payables with sign-off

The supplier invoice sits beside its original and is signed off position by position by the project manager, coded and released. It is paid by payment file.

  • VAT and deadlines

The VAT return with turnover reconciliation, as XML for the FTA's ePortal. The construction lien deadline speaks up before it runs out.

  • A general ledger, if you want one

Journal, account sheets, trial balance, fixed assets and the year-end close. Take-over from bexio, Banana or Abacus, even mid-year, and an account of their own for the accountant.
